Change Process: (self-reported)

As participants are engaged in the educational classes and the personal relationship with volunteers clients learn the value of healthy long term relationships in marriage. Many choose to marry their partners or wait for a person with whom they can have this kind of relationship. In this way the risk of STDs and unplanned pregnancies is reduced. Clients also learn and put into practice better parenting skills. Those who are unable to parent are presented with information about adoption and helped to work through this option. Clients who have experienced abortions find relief from post-abortion trauma and often go on to help others suffering in the same manner.
