Board Activities
- Formally reviews the performance of the chief executive officer at least once every two years.
- Formally approves the budget.
- Ensures that arrangements with outside fund raising firms are made in writing.
- Receives information about the financial arrangements with such firms and, if applicable, the anticipated portion of the gross proceeds that goes to the organization.
- Has formally approved a conflict of interest policy and regularly monitors it to ensure adherence.
- Receives, at least quarterly, the organization's financial statement.
- Receives, at least annually, an auditor's management letter and report.
- Convenes an audit committee.

Outcome 1
Participants experience spiritual growth.

Attendance and participation at weekly accountablity group meetings is tracked.
Attendance at daily devotional classes is taken.

Participants remain drug and alcohol free.

Participants are given random drug screening tests and breathalyzer tests.
Outcome 3
Participants develop positive work ethics and work habits.

Participants are given daily job functions and monthly reviews.

Participants rebuild and restore relationships with family.

Participants' visits with family and children and weekend passes to spend time spend time with family are scheduled and tracked.

Participants without high school diplomas receive GEDs (general equivalency degrees).

Participants take classes to prepare for the GED test and attendance is taken. GED test scores are tracked.

At Tabitha House, hurting women live in a safe, loving environment. Through counseling, educational opportunities, and job training, women are empowered to make permanent life changes. While living at Tabitha House, women learn to live a disciplined lifestyle based on Christian principles. They rebuild relationships with their children and families, and gain job skills and the life skills necessary to live independently.
The program is divided into three phases.
