Dill House - Formerly Incarcerated Women Return to the Community

Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
Dill House is for mothers who, within the past year, have left or are leaving the jail or prison system. Our goal is to help these women reconcile with their children (who often become wards of the state upon their mothers' incarceration) and move as a family to transitional housing, such as St. Barnabas House, DOZ's flagship home. Dill House residents receive the same core education services ("Healing from the Inside Out") offered to St, Barnabas residents. In addition, Dill House offers "Getting the Razor Wire Out of Your Head," a training program that helps ex-offenders return to the community.
