Change Process: (self-reported)
Program participants begin the process of changing the moment they agree to join the program and take the necessary steps in improving their life. They are asked to make good choices in their behavior in a structured environment. With the behavioral changes being confronted, transformation of the heart and mind takes place. The process of change and transformation is further achieved through the holistic approach of the program. Spiritually, Jesus said “seek ye first the kingdom of God.” Participants change through Bible Study, discipleship, and counseling. In reference to Community Jesus commands us to love one another. Program participants continue the process of change by learning to restore and build relationships. As for Education we are taught in Proverbs to get all of the knowledge and understanding that we can. Program participants desire and pursue knowledge through personal study and higher education. Last is Industry in which Scripture says that if we do not work then we do not eat. Likewise, we are to do all things including our vocation as unto the Lord. Work ethic is instilled in participants as they are trained and sent out into the workplace. By following these four pathways, program participants complete the transformation process and come to God's peace, life purpose, and fulfillment of potential.
