Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)

Our mission is to obey Isaiah 58:6-12, where God tells His people to do what they can to free the oppressed and needy. This involved our aggressively going out into the inner-city community to establish relationships with children and their families, initially by providing Bible Club and Tutoring Time. As the ministry evolved, we added Life-Skills Classes, Special Activities, Specialty Summer Camps, Prayer-Partner Program, and most recently a Ladies Group, which reaches out to the moms/care-givers of the children. Seeing the positive impact that these components of the ministry have had on the children's lives, we are convinced that the only way to see the effects of generational poverty reversed is by providing an all-day academic setting where the children will not only be instructed in the academics, but where we can address every area of life from a Biblical perspective.
