Change Process: (self-reported)

An unwanted or untimely pregnancy can be devastating to many. A free reliable pregnancy test is done and an ultrasound shows the client they are carrying a valuable precious life. Most choose to carry their baby to term, either parenting, or choosing adoption. We help these new Mom's get enrolled in Medicaid for their Medical Care, to see a Dr. as soon as possible, and begin educating them about childbirth, breastfeeding, infant care and parenting. We help provide some of the immediate, continuous basic needs of infants - diapers, wipes, formula & clothing until the baby is 2 years of age. We are here to encourage them, and give them hope, that what they felt began as a tragedy, is truly a valuable human life.

Regardless of the results of the client's pregnancy test, information is shared and literature is given regarding STD's, abstinence, pregnancy loss syndrome, etc. depending on the individual situation.
