Outcomes & Measures: (self-reported)
Outcome 1
Attract women experiencing crisis pregnancies to come to us for testing and counseling rather than seek an abortion
Measure
From State records determine the number of births and abortions in the area served.
Outcome 2
Increase the number of women that can utilize our services each year.
Measure
Abigail Women's Clinic has added Ultra Sound and is introducing a mobile unit that will, on a schedule, bring services to a rural four county area so women without transportation can be served. All visits are recorded and records reported annually.
Outcome 3
Have the new mother return for counseling, clothing, formula, diapers, baby equipment that is offered free
Measure
All visits are recorded and provide a way to know the baby was carried to term as well as follow up on the family situation
Outcome 4
How did the client learn about our services
Measure
All clients are asked and it is recorded.
Outcome 5
Evaluate the services offered
Measure
Clients are asked to complete an evaluation. This is voluntary
Change Process: (self-reported)
Clients come first to determine if pregnant. Some are abortion minded and our goal is to have all carry baby to term. A second outcome is to encourage good mother attitudes and skills. Counseling is provided for this.
