Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
The Potter's House is a long-term, Christ-centered, residential discipleship program for chemically addicted men. Located on a 550-acre working farm near Athens, it is also the home of The Mission's Thrift Ministry and Industrial Complex.
Our philosophy of ministry is taken from the Bible in Jeremiah 18:1-4. In this passage The Potter, rather than discarding a flawed vessel, sees its value and reshapes it into something completely new. We believe that at The Potter's House, God reshapes men's lives so they may be productive and useful.
