Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)

Our program helps women who are hurting in a crisis pregnancy. Some are young girls whose parents have turned against them due to the pregnancy. Some are older women who have already raised a family and are reluctant to start parenting again. We offer them an alternative to abortion by helping them find a place to stay if necessary, and arrange medical services for them if needed. We offer support for the time they are pregnant and for two years after the child is born. That support consists of counseling, and everything that the child will need. If they choose to let the child be adopted, they are assured that ABC counselors will be there for them during the pregnancy, and they may call or come by as often as they need to. There is a local attorney who will help them free of charge if they wish. We counsel with those who are abortion minded and show a video and material that has been written on abortion by doctors. We offer counseling to women who have aborted. Our goal is to see a decrease in crisis pregnancies. We teach abstinence, education on sexually transmitted diseases, and the need for the teenagers to complete their education.
