Change Process: (self-reported)

Participants are encouraged, guided, and motivated to get and keep a job. Our retired human resource managers know the things that they looked for when hiring for a position and can effectively portray those to the participants. They offer them real life examples they experienced. The majority of the people we interact with in this program lack some of the very basic fundamentals about job solutions that many of us take for granted. Our volunteers and staff try to help our participants to learn the fundamentals so that they can effectively apply, interview, obtain, and maintain a job. We have gotten back overwhelming positive feedback on the support and knowledge that they have gained from the trainings. Our volunteers try to motivate and uplift our participants about the job process. This program not only teaches the basic fundamentals of the job process, but uplifts our participants in to believing in themselves and their abilities.
