Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
Interfaith's commitment to the poor is based upon Matthew 25:34-40. Our initial 90-day program is sufficient for many families to regain self sufficiency. The "Second Step" program seeks to provide graduates of the 90-day program, when necessary, an opportunity to continue stabilizing their fragile family. The program is designed to simulate "real life" by requiring sliding scale rent, financial accountability and community responsibility.
